Welcome to Åland! I will take you by buss or along hiking trails around the northern frontier islands of the autonomic Åland County between Finland and Sweden. You will see their unique nature and learn their stories of the specific life at times under the rule of Sweden and Russian and at present as a vital part of Finland. I’m trained also as a guide on the Museum Ship Pommern and the Maritime Museum in Mariehamn, the capital of Åland County.

I’m a retired forester after working in several African and Asian countries. My passions and interests are nature, history and sustainable use of natural resources on the Åland County.
